Product & Process Lifecycle

Having a global vision from design and innovation to production line, is essential to achieve maximum efficiency in the life cycle of industrial products.

Submit new product developments in the market as fast as possible requires tools that manage the product specifications and the process from engineering centers and research laboratories to manufacturing plants.

INLEAN also proposes solutions that facilitate the integration of manufacturing data with the information and configuration of the products maintained by product engineering and research centers.

PDM and DMS – Product Data Management and Document Management System.

PDM systems are the master documentation repository of the products and manufacturing processes thereof.

The master data include:

  • Product standards.
  • Designs and plans.
  • Models.
  • Technical data.

MOM and PLM – Integration of Operations Management and Product Lifecycle

What is PLM?

The Management of Product Lifecycle is an integrated approach based on information made up of people, processes/practices and technology for all aspects of life of a product. From design to manufacturing, installation and maintenance, culminating in the product removal and its disposal.

Using the information of product marketing, energy and material through the entire organization and within the supply chain, PLM guides the new generation of thought "lean".

PLM provides information of the product standards and engineering specifications required for the development of processes and the working operations in the manufacturing plant.

It also supplies the integration of engineering activities linked within the production referred to: planning, operations management, MES, quality, data collection and data analysis.

Engineering and Process Simulation

Engineering Incorporates the simulation in the design process from the very beginning of development to reduce prototyping, reformulation and physical evidence, guiding the design by computer simulation, either a mechanical, electronic, chemical or biological system.

Simultaneously, equipment and processes required for plant production also use process, plant distributions and dynamic routes simulation. It is done during the phase of product development to facilitate industrialization and optimize the time to market. This also promotes the standardization and quality by design, and minimizes quality inspections in the production line.
